Of boats, ships and a queen.

Well, that was a very wet and maritime diamond weekend. It was my intention to watch the pageant river thing on tv but as it happens, Phoenicia is in London now, at St Katharine Docks and went to visit it.

Phoenicia is an expedition in which my maritime husband took part and now is helping organizing the exhibition. Check on the website and I will also be posting with news.

Very interesting to see all those old and grand ships, the day before the pageant thing we had a nice river walk from London Bridge to Rotherhithe, a very nice part of London, to see my friend Aimee's exhibition at the Brunel Museum. It is all very appropriate for the series of English Summer engravings I am making methinks.
