Mr Gill

How is it possible that such a head case like Eric Gill could create such beautiful types, sculptures and prints? God, I've been reading a book about him as Gill Sans has always been my favourite typeface of all.

I think since I've started working with type and engraving I've been unconsciously making in my prints what he does, people interacting with words. Unconsciously, I swear!
