summer trip #1 Ramsgate

Things I didn't know and learned this weekend:
*Vincent van Gogh lived in Ramsgate around 1876. We stayed two doors away from there!
* There was a crazy machine called Hovercraft, a hybrid between an airplane and a boat. The service Ramsgate-Calais doesn't exist anymore, unfortunately, I would've love to travel in it.
* There is a town called Sandwich.
* Close to Sandwich is the first main entry to Britain made by the Romans. The road to London starts there.

I wanted to draw more of the towns we visited but I ended up just drawing inside our friend's house. Old photos of his mum and dad and his collection of shoes.
